Questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I book?

Call (928) 235-6092. Visits are by appointment on weekday evenings after 5:30 PM and Saturdays 9 AM–5 PM. Online booking is not available yet.

What does it cost?

Initial new-patient visit $120 (about 60 minutes). Routine follow-up $75 (30–45 minutes). Monthly membership $60/month for one visit each month—see full terms on Services & Pricing.

Do you take Medicare or insurance?

No. We are private pay only. We can give you a receipt; ask your plan whether they reimburse it.

What happens at a visit?

The RN reviews your history and assesses skin, circulation, and sensation of the feet and lower legs. When you are appropriate for Level 1 under our protocols, nails of normal thickness may be trimmed and filed and light callus care may be done; otherwise we focus on assessment, education, and referral. See How to prepare.

What is Level 1 foot care?

Basic, non-invasive nursing foot care: nail trimming and filing, callus and corn reduction, skin and circulation checks, and education. We do not perform surgery, treat ingrown nails invasively, prescribe medication, or provide wound treatment. If we see a concern, we refer you to your doctor or podiatrist.

Can you help if I have diabetes?

We can assess your feet, teach home care, and refer you promptly when a physician or podiatrist is the safer next step. Until our Level 2 pathway and Board/counsel confirmation are complete, we do not schedule nail instrumentation for clients with diabetes or other high-risk histories (such as circulation disease). We do not offer advanced diabetic foot care yet.

Do you come to Willcox?

Willcox visits are by request only, when the schedule allows. Please call to ask; we do not have fixed Willcox days.

Where do you serve?

Safford, Thatcher, Pima, and the surrounding Gila Valley—homes, apartments, and assisted living.

Is this emergency care?

No. For sudden swelling, fever, open wounds, signs of infection, or severe pain, call your doctor or 911.

How are instruments cleaned?

Instruments are cleaned and autoclave-sterilized between clients. See Infection control.
